Terms of use
These terms explain how you can use sydneysam.com and how we work with you. Last updated October 2026. Sydneysam.com Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom.
1. About us
sydneysam.com is operated by Sydneysam.com Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17351920). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sydneysam.com Ltd. You can contact us at hello@sydneysam.com.
2. Using this website
You may browse, share and link to this website for personal and professional use. You may not copy, republish or sell its content without our written permission, except for the bios and photos on the media page, which you may use with credit when promoting an event with Sydney.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted.
3. Coaching, workshops, speaking and consulting
Each engagement is agreed in a written proposal, booking confirmation or contract that sets out the scope, dates, fees and payment terms. If anything in that document differs from these terms, that document applies.
Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days. Travel and accommodation for in-person work outside London are charged at cost.
Rescheduling: you can move a session free of charge with at least 7 days’ notice. Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice are charged at 50% of the session fee, and with less than 48 hours’ notice at 100%. If we need to cancel, we will offer a new date or a full refund for that session.
4. Launchroom programmes
Launchroom programmes and the Launchroom community are delivered on the Launchroom platform at launchroom.sydneysam.com, and purchases are processed there. The price, what is included and the support period are shown before you buy.
Because Launchroom gives immediate access to digital content, you agree when buying that access starts straight away and that your 14-day cancellation right ends once you access the content, as allowed under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If something isn’t working for you, email us and we’ll do our best to put it right.
Launchroom for teams is sold by proposal and invoice. Seats are personal to the named member and can be reassigned with notice.
5. Launchroom Live and free resources
Launchroom Live and free downloads are offered as they are. We may change dates, times or formats, and will let registered attendees know by email.
6. Our materials
Programme content, workbooks, slides, recordings and frameworks remain our intellectual property. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning or, for organisations, within your team. Please don’t resell, republish or share them outside the people they were provided for.
7. Confidentiality
What you share in coaching is confidential. We will only disclose it with your consent, where the law requires us to, or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others. Where an organisation sponsors coaching, any reporting is limited to what everyone agrees at the start.
8. Responsibility for outcomes
Coaching, workshops and content support your thinking and decisions. They are not legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice. Results depend on many factors, and the decisions you make remain your own.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or opportunity.
10. Links to other sites
We link to services we use, such as Substack, our booking calendar, the Launchroom platform, Workspace Global and OPENSPACE Global. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
